removal of inorganic minerals in drinking water<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Colloidal minerals <strong>&lt; 50 nm <\/strong>will be more easily <strong>absorbed<\/strong> (metabolized) by the body (pass the intestinal wall) by up to +\/- <strong>75%<\/strong> (compared to 5% to 25% for inorganic minerals)!<\/li>\n<li>Colloidal minerals <strong>&gt; 50 nm <\/strong>will be less easily absorbed and will remain mostly in the <strong>intestines<\/strong> (because they cannot pass the intestinal wall) and will therefore be eliminated via the <strong>feces<\/strong> rather than via the urine (kidneys). Studies on the subject estimate this rate of assimilation between <b>5% and 25%!<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b><\/b>The minerals contained in natural water therefore participate between <b>20% and 50% in the Recommended Nutritional Intake (RNI<\/b><b>) <\/b><b>of calcium and magnesium* <\/b>for one person<b>\u00a0<\/b>(for an adult M \/ F: calcium requirement +\/- 900 mg \/d, in magnesium +\/- 400 mg \/d)! Calcium and magnesium are therefore useful for <b>health<\/b>. Calcium contributes to bone health, has a beneficial role in hypertension, cardiovascular accidents, colon cancer. Calcium in water could also play a role in protecting against cardiovascular disease.
