Limestone therefore remains present in the water, but it no longer has any inconveniences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/section><section class=\"l-section wpb_row height_auto width_full\"><div class=\"l-section-h i-cf\"><div class=\"g-cols vc_row via_flex valign_middle type_default reversed stacking_default\"><div class=\"vc_col-sm-6 wpb_column vc_column_container tekstsideblock\"><div class=\"vc_column-inner\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><div class=\"wpb_text_column\"><div class=\"wpb_wrapper\"><ul>\n<li>Thanks to its permanent magnets and the magnetic fields generated, <strong>the Biodynamizer treats limestone for all tap water with a hardness of up to 40 \u00b0 f<\/strong> (French degree).<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Please note<\/strong><\/span> that the Biodynamizer does not remove limescale like a water softener; instead, it pulverizes it, making it less prone to encrustation and significantly easier to clean off. If your setup requires softened water (water with limescale removed)\u2014such as for steam ovens, Quooker systems, industrial kitchens, restaurants, steam rooms, Jacuzzis, or pool filtration systems\u2014you will need to combine our units (Biofilter + Biodynamizer) with a water softener (installed upstream of our devices) set to 15\u00b0f, and ensure the Biofilter cartridge is replaced every 6 months instead of 12.<\/li>\n<li><b>Above 40 \u00b0 f <\/b>(French degrees) of city water hardness (very hard water), <strong>we therefore recommend placing an additional limescale treatment device, the Biolimescaler<\/strong>\u00ae (in addition to the Biodynamizer\u00ae). The Biolimescaler\u00ae treats limestone by modifying its mineralogical structure (from calcite to aragonite) as well as the morphology of the limestone crystals (their size increases = early germination of the tartar). In addition, Biolimescaler\u00ae helps to eliminate existing encrustations in the pipes.<\/li>\n<li>The Biolimescaler\u00ae is made up of 12 natural magnets in samarium-cobalt alloy surrounded by food-safe Teflon which produce an intense alternating magnetic field (NS \/ SN) of 10,000 Gauss (1 T). Consequently, the limescale remains present and visible in the water, albeit in the form of fragmented white powder. The <u>Biolimescaler<\/u> enhances this breakdown process\u2014further fragmenting the limescale\u2014and can therefore be viewed as an amplifier of the ecological limescale treatment provided by the Biodynamizer. It acts as a booster for the Biodynamizer when water is extremely hard (approx. 40\u00b0f) or if you are particularly sensitive to limescale issues. However, it does not remove the limescale.<\/p>\n<p>Water treated by the Biofiltre and Biodynamizer is <strong>unsoftened water<\/strong>\u2014specifically, filtered water, which does not retain limescale, and dynamized water, which does not remove limescale.<\/p>\n<p><u>This implies the following:<\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For <strong>pool professionals<\/strong>: You must verify the compatibility of the swimming pool or jacuzzi filtration system with unsoftened water (water containing limescale).<\/li>\n<li>For <strong>professional kitchens<\/strong> (restaurants, hotels, spas, etc.)\u2014where appliances such as dishwashers operate frequently and heat to high temperatures, thereby accelerating limescale buildup\u2014consider installing a <strong>water softener<\/strong> upstream of these units to adjust water hardness to the levels specified by the manufacturers and suppliers of this professional equipment.<\/li>\n<li>For <strong>private households<\/strong>: If your appliances or installations are sensitive to limescale and require softened water (water from which limescale has been removed)\u2014such as taps that rapidly heat or carbonate water, certain steam ovens, hammams, etc.\u2014you should check with the manufacturer or supplier regarding the compatibility of unsoftened water with these devices. In such cases, it may be necessary to combine our units with a <strong>water softener<\/strong>. Please note that any reduction in limescale results in the addition of sodium (a component of salt that is tasteless) to your drinking water via the softener. This sodium is not removed by the Biofilter (it passes right through). For example, a reduction of 20\u00b0f (French degrees) adds 20 x 4.6 mg of sodium per liter of softened water, or approximately 100 mg\/L.
